A traditional solid shaving cream presented in a resealable aluminum tin with our fresh & lively Citrus fragrance. Designed for use with a shaving brush to provide a gentle glide of the razor blade to avoid shaving irritation.

Formulated according to an ancient recipe containing no dyes or preservatives and using highly select natural ingredients of vegetable origin including 'cocos nucifera oil' derived from dried coconut fruit to reduce inflammation and provide moisture to the skin.

In-stock items almost always ship within two business day after an order is placed and much of the time within one day. Occasionally, there may be a small delay before your order can ship and we will do our best to notify you of those delays. 

Our typical shipping option is parcel ground shipping from USPS, but we do have expedited shipping options available as well. Most items will have a UPS flat rate parcel or priority shipping option.

We very rarely find anyone who is not satisfied with their purchase of Antica Barberia shaving products, but just in case we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns after 14 days are may be authorized at our discretion and may be subject to a re-stocking fee.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Shaving brushes and razors which have been used cannot be returned unless defective.

My favorite.

Antica Barberia (Mondial) Original Citrus Scent Solid Shaving Cream is my favorite among the four scents I’ve tried among the Mondial soaps. More solid than a “croap” and less solid than something from Saponificio Varesino, it quickly generates a rich, slick lather on the face or in a bowl. It is equally susceptible to silver -tip badger or well broken-in boar bristle brushes. I’ve purchased it three times. It now is one of my Top 3 soaps. The other two have a vetiver scent.

I love this cream.

I’ve reviewed Antica Barberia’s Original Citrus Solid Shaving Cream once before. Scroll down, you’ll likely find it. I’ve bought my second tin and continue to enjoy its scent, performance, value, and latherability. I recently purchased a highly recommended boar bristle brush that, once broken in (which didn’t take all that long) generates lather off this puck in a way I've not experienced with any other shaving soap or brush other than silver badger.. I drizzle a little hot water atop the puck and let it sit while I shower. I pour the puck water into my bumped palm and rub it into my beard bristles. Even that generates foam! I twirl the brush around the puck for 10 seconds, whisk it in a bowl for 30 seconds, and I have ample legitimate, light, richly-scented shaving foam for three passes. Highly recommended.

Way beyond expectation.

At first I was confused: Was this a cream or a soap? For lack of a better term, it turns out to be an excellent "croap" -- more solid than a cream, less hard than a milled soap. But, boy, is it effective. I left a thin skiff of water atop the puck for a minute while I soaked my Antica Barberia boar bristle brush in a shaving bowl. I poured the citrus-scented bloom water into my cupped hand, rubbed my hands together, and gently massaged it into the stubble on my cheeks and chin. It instantly generated a thin, slick foam. Potent stuff. Ten seconds circling the brush around the puck and it was sufficiently loaded to begin circling it in the bowl. 30 seconds into that and I had a nice, light, and fragrant lather with soft peaks. Another 30 seconds and I had whipped up a greater quantity of stiffer but still light-as-meringue lather enough for three passes plus touch up. The orange scent is not like a Dreamsicle, There are darker bottom notes and an almost anise-scented middle. It's very pleasant. Post-shave, my skin felt soft and slick. The lather provided good protection and afforded plenty of blade glide for my DE razor. Meraviglioso!
